Did you know that owners and whānau of both Trusts are eligible to join the Wellington City online library site for free, which gives you free access to view the Generosity New Zealand (formerly Funding Information Service) website that has access to thousands of grants and scholarships!  

 

One of those grants might be just right for you, your tamariki, your mokopuna, for anyone in the whānau.

The Trustees are elected by the beneficial owners of the Trust. Each Trustee is elected for a term of three years.

The final result of the Trustee Elections held at the annual general meeting of the Palmerston North Maori Reserve Trust on Saturday 29 August 2015 at which Nigel Moody of Gibson Sheat and Aaron Titter of BDO Wellington Limited were scrutineers, are declared as follows:

Liz Mellish - Chair

Tribal affiliations: Te Atiawa, Taranaki, Ngati Ruanui

Liz is the current Chair of the Palmerston North Maori Reserve Trust. She was elected a Trustee in 1994. Liz is currently a self-employed contractor. Personal interests include her mokopuna, reading, walking, whitebaiting and gardening. Liz is involved in many sectors as notes her Trustee roles in the Ngahuru Charitable Trust, Wharewaka o Poneke Charitable Trust, Matiu Island Charitable Trust. She is also an adviser to the Lion Foundation, Director of Wharewaka o Poneke Enterprises Limited, member of Ara Tahi (committee of Greater Wellington Regional Council), Chair of the Roopu Tiaki and Chair of the Card Reserve Artificial Surface Trust

Mark Te One

Tribal Affiliation: Te Atiawa, Taranaki.

Mark is currently a cultural advisor with Te Puni Kokiri. He is a Trustee of the Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust, Wellington Tenths Trust, Wharewaka o Poneke Charitable Trust and Pipitea Marae Charitable Trust. He is also the newly appointed Chair of Ngahuru Charitable Trust. Mark's personal interest include whanau, sport and music.
