Notice of Deferral/Change to Maori Land Court Hearing

The Maori Land Court Hearing to be held in Whanganui on 16 August 2016 that was to hear our case for the resolutions passed at the recent Special General Meeting which resolved to reclassify PNMRT Freehold Land to General Land under Sections 135 & 137 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act; and the resolution to include a variation process in the Trust Deed, has been deferred.  The court hearing is unable to be proceed due to the judge having commitments with the Waitangi Tribunal.  Another judge has been appointed to our case who will issue directions once he has familiarised himself with the file.  We are looking to secure a new court hearing date and venue.

If you have any questions regarding this please don’t hesitate to contact our Executive Office on 0508 445 645
